Law Enforcement
Those who are aware of society's current concerns over the growing crime problem realize that law enforcement careers are also expected to continue increasing. Of all the options available in the criminal justice field, law enforcement attracts many people, primarily due to the challenge and considerable responsibility involved. On the federal, state, local, or county level, careers include: police officer, trooper, deputy sheriff, game warden, dispatcher, forensic science specialist, or special agent. Private, police-related occupations, such as that of a security officer or private investigator, are also options.
